Do you require a deposit?
We ask for a $400 CAD non-refundable deposit to reserve your kitten. This ensures fair selection order for our litters and supports our care efforts. Final pricing depends on color and pedigree and is shared when kittens are available.

Is my deposit refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future litter.

Q: How is pricing determined for Maine Coon kittens?
A: Our kitten pricing reflects the quality, pedigree, and care each kitten receives. Several factors influence the final price, including:

Pedigree & Lineage: Kittens from champion bloodlines or rare genetic lines are typically priced higher.
Coat Color & Pattern: Some colors or patterns (like silvers or shaded) are less common and may affect pricing.
Pet vs. Breeding Rights: Kittens sold as pets are priced differently from those with breeding/show rights.
Health Care: All kittens come vaccinated, dewormed, vet-checked, and often microchipped—these veterinary costs are built into the price.
Raising Standards: Our kittens are hand-raised in a loving home, well-socialized, and provided with quality food, enrichment, and care.

How do I reserve a kitten?

Once a litter is announced, you can complete the contact form below or book a phone consultation. A deposit is required to secure your spot on the reservation list.

Can I visit the kittens in person?

Viewings are available by appointment once the kittens are of appropriate age. We also offer virtual visits for out-of-town families.

When can I pick my kitten?

After kittens reach 6–8 weeks and their personalities emerge, we match families in the order deposits were received.

When do kittens go home?

Usually around 12–14 weeks, after full vet checks and socialization.

When will your next litter be available?

If no litter is available, you’re welcome to join our waitlist to be notified first. All our upcoming litters and updates will be posted on our website and social media. Complete the contact form on our contact page and we will be sure to notify you!

Other than my kitten, what else will come home with him or her?

Every SilverSpruce kitten comes home with a thoughtfully prepared care package to help ensure a smooth transition to their new home.

Included with your kitten:

· Collapsible travel carrier (airline carry-on approved)

· Health passport and vet records

· First vaccinations, deworming, and flea/tick treatment

· A starter supply of their current dry food

· A soft blanket that smells like home

· A toy they’re already familiar with

· A sample of the litter they’ve been using

We want your new kitten to feel safe, secure, and comforted from the moment they arrive.

Do you have a contract or adoption agreement?

Yes, all adoptions require a signed agreement to ensure the kitten's lifelong care and well-being.

Do I choose or am I matched with a kitten?

We work with you to find the perfect match based on personality, lifestyle, and preferences.

How well-socialized are your kittens?

All of our kittens are lovingly raised underfoot in our family home alongside our family. From the moment they’re born, they are gently handled by both adults and children, ensuring they grow up well-socialized, confident, and comfortable with everyday household life.

Do you ship kittens out of province or internationally?

Yes, we do! Whenever possible, we prefer to meet you at a nearby airport, such as Abbotsford International, where we can personally hand off your kitten to fly home with you as an in-cabin carry-on.

Cargo shipping is also available if needed. Shipping costs typically range from $350 to $400, depending on the destination. This fee is paid by the buyer at the time of booking. We always aim to book direct flights to ensure a smooth and safe journey for your kitten, with departures usually from Abbotsford or Vancouver airports.

Are your kittens registered and health-checked?

Yes, all of our Maine Coons are registered with recognized breed associations and come with thorough health checks, vaccinations, and a health guarantee.
